We’re all hungry for something
For some it’s a hot meal. For others it’s connection or belonging or a felt need to serve our neighbors. HOPE Kitchen is our way of creating a place where, together, we may connect with all God’s children. HOPE Kitchen opened its doors on February 24, 2019. In our first year we delivered nearly 3,500 fresh, healthy, homemade, vegetarian meals to neighbors living on the streets. We are always grateful for volunteers who help us prep food and to-go kits, and drive with us thru the alleys and curbs of our community. If you’d like to be a part of the work of HOPE Kitchen, please come and join us on Saturday morning. We start setting up at 10:00 a.m. and deliver from 1100 - 1230. Questions? Please send a message to our Facebook page.
Creativity and love beget creativity and love. Crenshaw Cowboy is one of the many people we serve on the streets each Sunday. He allowed Matt Purpura to shoot this bio-pic of him in January. We offer the wisdom of the streets back to you now as food for thought.
